July marked another steady month for Hydra Chain, combining strengthening marketing performance with steady technical progress and an expanding ecosystem of independent projects. From scaling high-impact KOL campaigns and delivering major UI/UX improvements, to onboarding new builders and passing an exciting DAO initiative, the community’s collective effort is driving measurable growth — and setting the stage for an even stronger August.

📊 KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Campaign Performance

In July, Hydra Chain built on June’s Instagram KOL momentum by scaling proven tactics and optimizing for higher reach and efficiency. The result was another record-breaking month for total engagements and continued cost-per-action improvements.

✅ Completed

Multiple key fixes and UI enhancements were completed in July, improving staking visibility, interface clarity, and system reliability.

Advanced backend for info display: Built a subgraph API that delivers deep insight into staking stats across users, positions, and global protocol data.
Made the validator selection window easier to use: Enlarged and optimized for smoother validator switching.
Set up daily automatic restarts for mainnet RPC machines: Ensures stable operation and reduces gas anomalies.
All Hydra trading pairs now listed on CoinGecko: All Hydra-related markets are now fully visible and trackable.
Added a vesting period column on the Portfolio page: Users can now easily view vesting periods.
Improved layout and clarity on the Staking Portfolio tab: Enhances data readability.
Portfolio page now loads with smooth skeleton animation: Better UX during data load.
Sidebar menu no longer glitches when collapsed: Minor UI glitch resolved.
Penalty now displays correctly for multiple delegations: Fixed an issue where undelegation penalties were not shown accurately when users had several delegations with different vesting periods.
Vested period field can now be cleared easily: Improved form usability when changing or removing vesting periods.

🔧 In Progress

Several improvements are in active development to further enhance analytics, smart contract usability, and validator UX.

Construction of advanced visualization page: A data-rich staking dashboard is underway with beautiful charts showing supply trends, delegation totals, inflation changes, and more.
Show total Lydra needed to undelegate on Portfolio page: Will soon display how much Lydra is needed to fully undelegate, with clearer “Available Lydras” labelling.
Problem with gas estimation when re-staking with vesting: Fixing a bug preventing gas estimation during re-staking through Myra.
Create an easy-to-use info API for Hydra stats: A public API is being developed to provide HydraChain metrics like supply, burn rate, gas usage, and more.
Improved bootnodes discovery: Validator networking is being upgraded with automated config handling for stronger uptime and sync resilience.
Upgrade Solidity/EVM to latest version: Bringing HydraGon fully in line with modern Solidity for better compatibility and tooling support.
Uptime not showing on testnet staking app: Fixing a bug to correctly display validator uptime in the testnet environment.

💸 July DAO Expenditure

Total Infrastructure and Staffing Expenditure in July 2025 for the working month of June (including one pending item from May) was $27,424.

Marketing Expenses for the working month of July 2025 were $3,985.

The DAO continued managing core infrastructure costs, compensating contributors, and allocating funds toward ecosystem growth initiatives.

🗳️ Recent & Upcoming Votes

One proposal — the X Awareness Booster — was successfully voted through in July 2025. This initiative aims to amplify Hydra’s presence on X via incentivised engagement, and bring new members to the community via the launch of “Hydra’s Fire”, a Telegram arcade game.

Additional proposals are expected to reach the voting stage in August, continuing the community-led momentum.

📚 Documentation Update

A new documentation section has been added for the Hydra Multibridge, improving visibility into the bridging infrastructure and developer integration process.
